Prove it then
For one, the remaining wing would continue generating lift, so the airplane should not roll into that wing, but to the other side.

The video artist who made the clip probably had a plastic model to study and was likely thinking of weight alone, not lift.

Now, that was real and there is a other video around with a guy that does the same thing with his big 3D airplane, pretty neat!

Here is a F-15 landing with one wing

I don't know much, I only play a pilot in real life. There is a huge difference between part of a wing coming off and losing the entire wing. Also on that plane in the video the body is a cylinder it doesn't generate lift like an F-15's body does. That Manuel Santos landing is absolutely amazing. However comparing an RC plane to a real plane in flight characteristics is ridiculous. The wing loadings, power to weight ratios and stall speeds aren't even remotely close. I can tear the wing off a paper airplane and it will still glide. Do the same to a 172 and everyone is dead.
