If your ESC are running on 5s now, they are properly rated for 6s max.
Most ESC are rated for 2 to 4s or 3 to 6s, you should be good.

P.S. sorry for the spelling or the grammar I am dyslexic!

It's really hard to say with no info on ESCs, motors, props, weight, etc. Like mcfast said, you will probably be okay but I would check the ESC and motor specs to make sure. I would also do a short flight and check the temperatures of the motors and ESCs to make sure they aren't overheating. If they are getting a little hot you might have to drop a prop size or something.

Thanks guys for he info. It seemed to me that 5S batteries were not as common as 6S. I recently found a source for 5S so I may stay with them.
