The TDR2 is amost nothing but speculation.
Jan did talk about a "NEW" TDR. Hopefully, that makes it more likely.

The TDR2 would definitely fit my flying style better, at least I could have all of the exquisite mechanics...we'll see what comes out when.

I figure I have plenty of time to decide for sure.

Like Jason told me...I knew you couldn't resist.

You'll probably be back from your next deployment before you get it anyway...you should be safe by then.

Deployments are where I stash away my helicopter funds away. And since I have deployed almost every year for the last 13 years.. That's a lot of helicopter money.. Lol.Aut viam inveniam aut faciam

Sorry, Chet, I worded that incorrectly. I meant speculation on what exactly it will be since he had no prototype there. Supposedly to have the same mechs as the TDS, but be a pod and boom belt drive.

Welcome to the other side....muhahaha.

Jan told me, I might see mine this year, but yeah, at least I get to join the other, other side shortly.

Guess I'll have to cancel my BFG-50A.

Lol.. Stop buying heli's! I'm still on the fence about it, but I am on the list. That's a lot of money to shell out for a heli. That's way above my comfortable spending amount for something like that so we will see when the time comes.Aut viam inveniam aut faciam

It's my addiction! And I broke that ceiling with the Diabolo S and put off my .50 Cal for it, now I'll come back up for it around the time TDS's start shipping.

You can always get the TDR-2, but the TDS is so, so nice. What would be extra nice is, if the same mechanics are used like what is being said, you could buy a conversion Kit and turn the TDR-2 into a TDS later.

^^^I'm beginning to think That's what I might do...

I requested to be on the list for a "TD?", so apparently he has two lists going.

Here's what Jan said this morning...
Hi Chet,

which one?
the TDR successor TDR II (pot and boom helicopter) round about 1400,- Euro
or
the TDS with a full carbon fuselage round about 2700,- Euro

Regards

So $4K should be pretty close, for the TDS, with blades and fees.

Time to start collecting parts for it. Now, if I only knew what will work/fit in it. As much as the TDS is designed to handle, Kontronik better come out with a 400A ESC.I am serious.....and don't call me Shirley.

Yes, but from what I've read, that seriously may not be enough for it's full potential, and the gearing sure seems to support that. Of course, there's all kinds of speculation mixed with facts floating around, so at this point, unless it comes from Jan, gotta take it with a grain of salt.I am serious.....and don't call me Shirley.

Yep been on the "unofficial" waiting list on this heli for months already, I should have one of the first when they are released. When Jan does something, he does it right the first time. No clue on the cost, but speculating around $1500-2k.Team MyColdHardCash

As posted from above, looks like it's gonna' take a little-more than that for the TDS NOLONGERFLYING but I'm sure it will be worth it

Didn't see that lol... Surprises me as that will cost more then a Banshee... Anyways, I guess you get what you pay for and have something alot of people can't have. I like having something I don't see at the field everyday. That will hurt alittle though, I won't lie.Team MyColdHardCash

HA!
I don't think you could touch a Banshee for less than 6-7K now, if anyone was to sell theirs.

This will blow the Banshee away...
