my tail gear B and the housing it sits in is loose inside the tail boom bracket. not only does the gear itself have foward and backward play, the unit itself moves in all directions quite a bit. as far as the gear itself i do have 2 shims in thier for play. still has a loose mesh and with the bracket moving...
anyone else have this issue? the bracket has wear marks on it but there doesnt see, to be any loss of material where the two mate.

Any chance you can snap a pic or two of the condition you are talking about? I'm not sure I'm mentally picturing exactly what you are dealing with.

Thanks,

this is loose in side the boom bracket. it wiggles in all directions. its the front torque tube gear bearing block. I'm gonna replace it just seems weird its loose in the bracket like it is. although I do beat the heck out my nitro x50's soo guess it makes sense to see things wearing down... breaking in ys 60 for it soon.

Ok so new tail boom bracket and all is good. That bearing block is snug!! Wierd though. How would that boom block get wore out in that opening where it sits. Weird!!

That is pretty weird. Unless the bearing were to be slightly locking up and spinning in the plastic from time to time, I can't figure out what would cause it. I guess if there were extra debris packed into the teeth on the main tail drive pulley (gear) it would/could force the vertical shaft back and wear the plastic out over time... (that one is a big stretch :-))

Glad you got it taken care of.
