I'm trying to set up a 750 on a spectra g and was wondering what other people are using to mount the sensor? is it the foam pads it comes with or the grey 3M tape etc

I don't think you have to worry about vibs with cgy 750 on a gasser. I would just hard mount with the black foam tapes it comes with. Don't forget the CGY 750 has built in vibration cancelation technology.

i been having a hard time getting it setup properly. i am mainly new to fbl with only setting up 1 beastx on a nitro which was very easy compared to this. my spectra sometimes it drifts all over and other times its good. i have watched nick maxwells setup videos a 1000 times
im getting frustrated with this 750 i may just put the flybar back on and be done with it!

Again, the model must be MECHANICALLY perfect (or very close) in trim in normal gyro mode (IE, NO trim or sub-trim in the radio) for the CGY-750 to work without much adjustment. If not, it is always hunting for perfect trim and you will never get it close. If all is set up, should fly hands off pretty much in hover.

I would gladly take your offer but I understand your frustration.
Have you tried mounting on a different location?

I dont have your model nor fbl unit but had similar issues with my gasser and finding the right location solved mine. Ended up inside left frame under boom...go figure.
