Flight Report: Flights 41-46 today. The HS-5055's are working out great and all the stock electronics are holding up well to my abuse! Been fighting off blade tracking last few flights due to some small chips I put in the blades and the whiteout I used to paint over the scrapes. Think I'm going to order a set of Revolutions and give them a test. Weather is looking good for the weekend so will put a bunch more flights on it!

I only FLY on days that end in "Y"

Questions about batteries for the Blade 300 CFX
Hello Chris,

Since you actually have a Blade 300 CFX I have some questions for about the battery box/holder for the 300 CFX. The size of the Blade battery is as follows

Length: 2.7 inch (68mm)
Width: 1.4 inch (34mm)
Height: 0.9 inch (24mm)

Another guy on the forum (DemetriusUSN) told me about the batteries
from Value Hobby that are slightly different in size

71mm X 34mm X 20mm (2.8in X 1.34in X 0.79in)

So, the question is, will the Value Hobby battery fit in the Blade 300CFX?

Regards, Dave

Chris, I really dig the 300 size, it's quicker but can be real scale like any time and my backyard is room enough to play safely.

There are a few other things to improve other than the cons mentioned, but that's what keeps the after market wheel going.

Yes that battery should work fine.
Not sure if Blade plans to release anything? I'm not associated with them.

Flight Report:
64 flights on the 300CFX so far, stock electronics holding up fine without any issues minus the servos I stripped out on a crash I caused by trying to blade scrape a pile of wet snow... (Replaced the cyclics with a set of HS-5055's MG) I also changed out the stock blades for a set of Edge Rotorblades because I scraped the heck out of the Blade pair doing inverted blade scrapes on pavement and the balance was off causing tracking issues. Other than the parts I broke due to messing around the stock machine it is holding up great to my Abuse this far!

How do you setup a X9303 radio for the Blade CFX?
Hello,

I looked at the manual for the Blade CFX and did not see any setup info for a JR X9303 radio. So what should I use to setup a X9303 radio?

Regards, Dave

Flight Report: 95 Flights on the CFX so far!!!
ESC, motor, and BeastX still performing flawless.
I had one time the tail servo did not initialize on start up so I just unplugged and replugged the flight pack back in. I don't fly soft I prefer to beat on this machine. The stock tail servo is still holding up fine.

Cut the lawn she said... Lol

when will the blade 300cfx be released?
When will the blade 300cfx be released? The original date was the end of April, which was moved to the middle of may, which is going to be here pretty quickly.

Update on availability of the Blade 300 CFX
Hello,

I contacted my local Hobby store about getting a Blade 300CFX. They told me that they are in California and I have to wait until Illionois gets them so that I can get one in Iowa. Figure that one out.

Flight Report: 114 flights and counting! I love trimming the grass with the thing... Put the CFX in again today with zero damage! The Hitec servos have held up for 80+ flights now and has survived countless crop circle mishaps without damage!!!

Check out the video below. It really gets sucked up good and flies again seconds later. Motor, ESC, BeastX and tail servo still flying without any issues even with my ABUSE

Flight Report: up to 125 flights now. This little mini Heli owes me nothing. It had been an absolute joy to fly and work on new 3D maneuvers. Working the tail harder now with more piro type moves and the stock E-flite 76T tail servo is still hanging in there 125 flights later...!
