That's awesome! But what are you going to do when the neighbors start reporting UFO sightings over your back yard at night?....

Ah another multirotor convert, warms my heart to see LOL... My phantom isn't nearly as well lit as yours, but it too has enough lights on the bottom of it to night-fly while line-of-sight. Great fun!

Very cool!! I love night flying!! I hooked my Hunter Vtail 400 aerobatic quad up with lights on 4S. BRIGHT! Hahaa.. So bright that if it's night time, I have to close my eyes while plugging it in or I get temorarily blinded. hahahaa

Here's a video of what mine looks like at night:

I'm still trying to figure out a way to use my nitro stuff for FPV, but I don't think the vibration is going to permit it.
I'm keeping my whip nitro on the shelf as a parts supply for the whip E anyway. I've decided to keep the Whip E in my rotation since it's still together and flies great. So may just end up pulling the engine on the nitro and pickling it till I make a decision...

But unfortunately, electric or large gas seems to be the only real options for FPV unless it's a plank (and I've already got an FPV plank)...

There's a site called nuforc.org, you can see if you are having any success. Check the databank area, then sort by date, location, etc.

I fly a Radian with 1450 lights on it, on 3s 2200 lipo with the lights ruining though the balance port I am getting 20 min flight times with the motor always on some.

A few lights will not change the flight time to any noticeable amount.... Load it up!

Kenneth.... Fly Safe!
