Futaba External Voltage Cable Have a question about this cable,What exactly does the fuse that you solder to the ( neg ) line of the cable do?Is the fuse necessary to have as you can get the plugs for the RX with some wire and just add on the length you need to use with out the fuse would this be ok?I have some of these plugs and if the fuse should be on there does any one know what exactly the fuse specs are? maybe I could go to some place like radio shack and try and find some or maybe other may have a source? |

Fuse should be there to protect the receiver from some unspecified badness, if you know what I mean.I am at work and cannot recall the value, but I have it at home. It's an easily sourced piece from places like Digikey or Mousser.Ben MinorPeak Aircraft/Team Minicopter Team Futaba Team Kontronik USA |

Does anyone know what the name/model the tiny white plug is for the voltage sensor? It's a JST, but at £12 a lead, a bag of those plugs from China would only be 10bucks!! |

Thanks Ben will pick some of them up, one more question is there a + and - side to this? I mean does one end have to to to batt side and one go to RX side? I do not know if there is a flow direction of the juice that runs through it or if does not matter which way it is installed as long as it is on the black - wire which is the one I believe it goes on correct? |

Does any one know if there is a flow direction on this fuse while I know it goes on the neg lead now just don't know if there is a specific direction it has to face like this side to batt this side to RX? |

I do not recall seeing polarity markings on them. Therefore, it should not matter.Ben MinorPeak Aircraft/Team Minicopter Team Futaba Team Kontronik USA |
