People Bailing out....... I've been seeing a lot of action in the classifieds for Hirobo, just seems people bail out prematurely on things. It almost seems like it's to difficult to look around and realize you can still get parts, likely cheaper than they were, if people would just look around and contact RCJapan. It's a shame really. |

I love Hirobo
I've been getting most of my parts through RC Japan, they are a top notch company. I usually get my order in 5 days shipped to Maine, and the prices are good also.
Ill keep flying my Hirobo helis as long as possible. |

I came back to Hirobo recently and as long as I get parts, I'm keeping it! I have even been eyeballing Mike0251's Lepton EX in the classifieds. I made a mistake once, but I was wrong? |

Ever since the first Freya came out, I've been all in. Won't change until I no longer can get parts. I'm also refusing to go to electric. (I have my reasons). Last though, I was criticized for having "outdated" machines. Realized why enjoy flying by myself. I dislike the latest and greatest crowds. |

I have only one JR helicopter which is JR Airskipper E12, all the rest of my helicopters are Hirobo, by comparing the parts side by side, I can feel the difference between Hirobo and JR parts, Hirobo metal parts are more solid and feel better in hands, JR parts are not as solid as Hirobo from my point of view, Hirobo plastic parts are also tougher than JR, I even feel Hirobo plastic parts are tougher than Align metal parts, well, maybe it's just me but it's my feeling.I will keep my Hirobo fleet and I am still stocking parts whenever the cheap deal appears, I buy Hirobo parts from RCJapan regularly too and the price is much cheaper than buying from local distributor even includes the shipping.RCJapan is the way to go so I don't worry about the parts as far as Hirobo does not close business.I am now stocking parts to prepare for just in case one day Hirobo closes their rc helicopter business, I would like to still have enough parts to keep flying. |

petiteway it's funny you mentioned the JR Airskipper E12 as I have one too. Now that you mentioned it, I do notice that difference. For those who are also JR enthusiast, please do not take me the wrong way. JR also is a quality RC helicopter and they're really good at what they do. They also follow through where the trend goes and reciprocate the customers inputs. However the materials they use is a bit in the lesser side compared to Hirobo. Hirobo is meticulous when it comes to their parts and materials...I guess. This is clearly reflected on their kits. My Lepton EX for example is quality in craftsmanship and material wise. I'd say this is what makes Hirobo different from the rest.People have complained about Hirobo being too expensive, but that's the price you pay for that top notch quality. They're all about quality and not quantity. This has always been the biggest debate among RC helicopter enthusiast. I always hear this statement: "For that price I could get 2-3 more of this type of helicopter, so why should I pay for that?". Well, that's all good if that's what make you happy. But for those like us who strive for a much better platform, this is what makes us happy. You've never heard of a luxury car priced like a regular average car. Same concept as in RC helicopters. The more quality parts and materials they use, the more you have to pay for it. That's just the way it goes. Well, enough about that as I'm getting side tracked. Anyways thanks for the insight. |

I've been flying Hirobo for 3 years now. Started with the SDX and now flying F3C with the Freya which has been converted to electric using the TMRF conversion. Yes Hirobos are rather pricey compared to other brands, but the quality of the parts are superb. Very little maintenance needed...day in day out it is just flying and flying with no issues. It is a very reliable heli.Besides, RC Japan has the most complete Hirobo parts, so no worries and they give very good and prompt service and response too. |

Yes Yes n Yes. I had my 13 year old X SPEC whistling down my field at a great rate of speed turning the SSR7 and flying aerobatics. One chap says 'what machine is that, a TRex 700?'. I couldn't stop laughing and had to land. When I landed he looked @ it n said Hirobo? It was like he never heard of it.
