While your inserting your torque tube shaft into the carbon fiber boom you might find this to be pretty helpful. I was turned on to this by a friend and amazed out how easy it was. The rubber bearing holders are an incredibly tight fit. I found it at Lowes.

Hope that helps someone.

I tried that, but found it pretty messy. What worked better for me was just getting some spray silicone lube, and hitting the bearing rubber with a shot and then spraying a shot into the boom end.

There was plenty of lube to get the bearings completely into the boom.
