This should be a very short thread.

Hmmmm....it will definitely take some doing to top that one.

In fact, that guy might be in the running for the Darwin award.

McKrackin was in the lead...this guy pulled the rug out. LOL

You know, I've seen the posts suggesting this was a foolish thing to do. Perhaps, but I have to tell the truth. If someone handed me a 700 heli with one working sat (which I warned him about) and geared to insanity like that, I'd have flown the crap out of it too. And I'd have had a cynical grin on the whole time.

Yeah, I almost mentioned Ernie's plow job, but, as you said, this guy wins.

Jinx!
And it was his new canopy.
That's what did Mckrakin in. Like washing a car and having it rain.

The 1.21 gigawatt Gobby will probably take the cake for quite sometime. That is unless someone likes flying next to a liquid propane tanker

Heli-itis sufferer.

One of the most annoying quotes for sure. Oops... I'm in the wrong thread.

More on topic, that was truly an awesome video. My favourite part was when it hit the power line!

This is mine for the year...

Inverted backwards hurricane straight into the dirt.
Wide open throttle and about 85 MPH.
Broke everything...Almost every piece of CF was broken.
Complete and total loss of the air frame.

Man, carnage is carnage. McKrackin, your pile probably smelled better than his. Electrical burned stuff always and forever smells. Sorry about the mishap.

Well done McKrackin.. There are easier and cheaper ways to dig holes. That was an impressive amount of soil buried into the airframe.
