Has anyone vacuum formed canopies from plastic like they do in the RC car and trucks?

I thought the old Miniature Aircraft two piece canopies were vacuum formed.

Just to be clear. I meant individuals and not companies.

A buddy of mine vacuum forms canopies for the MCPX BL. I think he is working on one for the 130x as well.

All you need is a left and right plug of the correct shape, plastic material, and a big enough vacu-forming machine to do it.

After that, it's a snap.
