this winter i converted all my stuff over to hitec. got tired of all the remotes and extensions and such. anyway hitec has a few different choices. my big plane i have a 9ch receiver with two antennas. i have a 7ch laying here with one antenna. im concerned with one antenna on a carbon framed heli. would i be ok if i put the antenna on top of the frame? maybe i should just get a different receiver?

yes maxima 9. love the radio. so comfortable and easy to program. its also so locked in and fast it makes my planes feel alot better. cant wait to see how the faster maxima does in a heli !

First flight of the day was on my pattern plane with optima7 on 6.6v. Took off and a wing dipped. Then got in the air and got a few hard hits. I killed the motor and got the plane down safe. Checked plane over and put my antenna in a diff position. Figured since I was shook up I'd go fly my trusty laser with a maxima 9 on hv. A few minutes in it locked into a turn and crashed. The controls never came back on until I cycled the power
