Does this look ok to you?
Seems to work the way I want.

Got 25V on the tail end for the BEC and 50V on the other end for the ESC.

The tail end uses the ground that goes all the way to the ESC. The guys at EP Buddy recommended that.

I put the wiring inside the shrink.
I took the housings off the EC5 connectors to slim it down.

Using extensions on my paraboard so I can parallel charge as two 6S packs.

Depending on whose esc you use the cable run looks to be very long from what I guess will be the rear pack.

I have seen more usually both batteries either round the same way or the leads exiting from the middle to keep the leads as short as possible.

I get that but I have actually shortened the leads from when they were on another heli.

I have flown this set up before I shortened everything up and nothing gets even slightly warm.

I use an OS ESC and an Align 700MX motor.
10.7:1 gear ratio and 2018 RPM head speed.

I checked temps on everything and everything stays cool.
I even flew into LVC accidentally last time and nothing got warm.lol...

By the way...If I put both leads toward the middle or even both leads toward the front, they're too high and won't lay down to clear the motor pinion.

You do what you have to do.

Long leads are an inductor of sorts and it can affect some ESCs. A cure is to compensate by adding capacitance but how much I have no idea.

I am not criticising your setup but offering facts as I have seen on this and other forums.

capacitance
Can you explain that?

I have forgotten most of this stuff from school but inductance lags voltage and capacitance leads voltage. If for instance you work with a lot of motors like in lathes then your load on the supply would be inductance. By adding capacitance the inductance is cancelled out. This is know as power factor correction. Without the correction the inductive load results in more current flowing which increases the need for thicker wire and costs more in the electricity bill.

Castle Creations posted something to this effect that if you had to use long leads on the packs then adding capacitance corrected this very same problem.

That's the $64,000 question. The one I can't answer because I don't know if you have a problem or not.

This is what CC have on their website.

That's pretty cool.

I doubt I mess with it though.
I have around 60-80 flights total on these packs as well as this ESC and motor.
The leads have always been the same length or longer.

Believe it or not,it's only about a 10 inch extension off the stock battery leads.

Just for clarification, the additional wire guidelines are for total wire length because it is afterall a pathway, so if the male and female extensions are each 10 inches, that's 20 inches of length. Battery leads are part of any total lenth of wire.

You're can't really see the way the excess wire length pounds the esc caps, but the caps surely do.

I say this stuff not to start a pissing match but rather for purely educational puposes.

I would suggest to use Capacitor pack, either Castle or YGE !... Better be on the safe side though!... If you notice a 12S stick don't have extensions and connectors all over!... You could have solder the cables straight and heat sink rather than too many connectors for extensions.

OK...Big changes.

I removed everything I added.
I separated all the EC5s.
I added 5 inches to to the ground on the rear pack.
I made a 1/2 inch jumper.

Now there's a total of 5 1/2 inches of added leads to make the series connection.

I just plug the + from the front pack and the - from the rear pack into the ESC and then turn the - from the front pack back into the + from the rear pack.

Gonna use a RX pack.

This is pretty much the entire series adapter.
