Wish I could make it, but I have another commitment that weekend. For some reason that weekend always seems to have the most events of any weekend of the year scheduled.

Postponed
MAY is a tough month for me this year. Way too much work travel getting in the way and lots of other events people are attending.

I'm sorry to say the best thing to do is postpone the contest to a later date. Thinking after the Nats/IRCHA in the SEPT timeframe.

Will keep this post going and update the schedule soon.

I assume that the 19th is a practice day?
Not sure how that date will play out for some since it is also the weekend of Heli Extravaganza at Triple Tree.

Cheers

Yes, Friday, the 19th the field will be a available for practice. No contest rounds will be flown until Sat.

I understand this contest is the same weekend as the Triple Tree funfly. Sorry for the inconvenience but this was the best weekend for the contest faithful and best chance for decent weather before it gets wet and cold in this part of the country!

Ok. Skipping Triple Tree this year. Worn out from IRCHA anyway :-)
I will be there later Friday or very early Saturday. I assume it will be OK to bring the camper?

Cheers

Camper
Alan,

Absolutely. We don't have any hook ups but you are welcome to bring it down. Most will be spending evenings off-site but that just means more field time for you and practice after hours! See you soon.

Or..................
Or you can unhook or hitch a ride and "spend time offsite" with the rest of us. I have a really good time in Huntsville and they have a pretty darn good hobby shop.

One week to go!
First "cold" front of the season is rolling in this week. So good signs for comfortable weather in the low 80s during the contest.

Look forward to seeing everyone soon!

Who's coming?
