That makes sense...
so it would seem that you would want more expo on the ailerons to lessen their movement, around center stick, to match the pitch axis.

Yes most all my Expo and Dual Rate numbers are different from each other, however its only a few percent just to get the feel the same for each axis.

If its a large difference between the two might want to go back and check your set up.

Expo Settings
In full on 3D, I agree that the expo will not have an advantage other then to soften the center stick area.... and that is all that it does for all set ups...

BUT, while learning or just doing curcuits, right side up and upside down, the expo can help for those jittery nerves!!!

The ailerons need "less" expo then the elevator...

The elevator is the most sensitive control due mostly to the head configureations that we have available, and especially on a multi blade head that ALWAYS wants to return to neutral/hover, and you need to counter that movement...

But the only thing that expo does is soften the center position.. if you go to full deflection, you will get 100% of what your travel is...

So, I would agree with KevinB... except if you are flying a scale model... I just don't feel right doing rolls in any direction!!!

Remember it only softens the feel around center stick position the higher the number (on JR.. opposite on Futaba) the more SOFT feel you will have further into the stick movemnt..

Hope this helps out... Stan HAPPY NEW YEAR
