Who's your Mentor
I would have to say my old friend Kenny Moore, who passed away some years ago. And I have to say thanks to the guys in Las Vegas.

BrainDrain_dx has been a great help. He even came out in the rain and helped me set up my first flybarless. He is really a great guy. Dave Wise has also been a great mentor and friend in the hobby. I don't think I would have stuck with it if it were not for the help of these two.

One person for me, the original ObiWan- Mark Kiner!

Too bad we only had about 18 months of flying together. He hasn't fired up one of his machines since 2001.

It is crazy to think a 40 something year old guy back then was doing things only Curtis and Todd could do. Very few people today have the smoothness and technical abilities to pull of some of those maneuvers. Nick would be one of the few in that category.

My mentor would be Santiago P. (moneypitvictim) helped me get my start back in 2008. He sold me my first helicopter. A Raptor 50V2 rtf, and I still fly it occasionally. I have made plenty of good friends since being in this hobby. All who have been very helpful in one way or another.

Thanks guys.

Santiago, and me trying to be funny at the Dayton Wingmasters Heli fun fly in 2012. Good times.

Dave D...
Dave D...(he knows who he is) He made it possible. Without him, I would still be grinding on the simulator. I must say that the day I finally flew real life forward flight was one of the happiest days in my life.

I have never wanted something so much. With that, I try to make it possible for others to get in and enjoy flying.

I would have to say Alan Szabo Sr. Always a positive attitude and always willing to help. If he wasn't sure about something he has no problem volunteering one of his Boys to help out.

When I first started to think about getting into R/C planes I went out the local field and saw Alan Sr. fly his Raptor. Spoke with him and Rocky Roper Never made it to the plane side of the field that day, and I have been broke ever since.

Of course the first time I met Alan Jr. and saw him fly, I was seriously considering quitting this hobby. It was then I decided to become a sports pilot with some mild 3D.
