How often do you go out flying,
Not enough. Obviously I am not flying today in the blowing snow.
how often to Munice?
Several times. Logistically it's way better not flying and instead driving.
Cali seems to be a nice place for the wintertime.
Yes but it's not all paradise. Santa Ana winds are annoying, Summer gets very hot. The traffic is horrible. Prices are high.

WOW, Mark, I didn't realize before that you're a Michigander...

Likewise...I am very ready for warmer weather. But there's not many places that are always ideal...I'd be content if my shop were heated.

Summer gets very hot.
You must have lived inland then. No hot summers in the South Bay area. It is windier then I thought it would be here, though.

As far as winter goes... I can take it or leave it. If I can drive to it, that works great for me.

I'm going home to Michigan for Christmas. My dad PROMISED me he'd have the shop heater working. He'd better, as I'm going to fix and or build, about 90 things for him to light a fire under him for spring.

I normally appreciate some off-season for building and tinkering without missing flying time. But, I am getting older and don't appreciate the cold weather like I used to. I'm not an indoor flier either. Don't care for flying under the overhead lights.

I guess tomorrow, I will head into work where we have a very nice shop that is nice and warm, and a paint booth for my current project. 10 mins drive.

I hear you. Getting older, it definitely gets a bit harder. I still feel young enough to enjoy it though. Shoveling out this am was invigorating actually. Then I had a few flights in the back yard with the 130x while the kids tried to down it with snow balls.
Then off to the heated man cave for some more fun.

They were my cousin's kids. And my cousin married a 20 year old when he was about 40. Talk to him if you want to know how to feel old. LOLTeam POP Secret
