Fail Safe
With Futaba radios if you set the fail safe do you have to rebind the receiver or does it know when you turn on the receiver.

No, you don't have to re-LINK.

Setting failsafe by re-BINDing is a hangover from sticking modules into legacy transmitters in PPM mode. Now it's a feature - like MS Windows blue screening. On any real radio you link/bind once period without telemetry and once per model for telemetry and forget about it.

The prefix "re"'is rarely used with link(bind) with Futaba equipment regardless of procedure executed. Pretty much the only things that demand it are switching transmitters or modes of the receiver itself.

I have been using Futaba FASST since the TM-14 module first came out and have never had to re-link. Not even once.

I have never had to relink but I just wanted to be sure if you don't relink that failsafe will still work.
