XG14 How To ?
I want to run a SwitchGlo on all flight modes that comes on at 1/4 throttle or less. That is, Normal below 1/4, Hold all the time, Stunt1/2 never (since never below 1/4).

How do you do that ? I don't want a switch tied to the SwitchGlo channel that has to be in center position.

Edited instructions!
Inhibit the aux channel that will be used as the slave for the mix in the Device Sel menu.
Create Program Mix 1 as a Curve that is always on.
Select Throttle as master and select the switchglo channel as slave.
Leave the check boxes on the INCLUDE menu when setting the throttle as master.( This will let the throttle act as an on and off even when you are in stunt 1,2, and hold.)
Add a point at 25% in on the curve.
Delete point 2 and add it back in at 26% in on the curve.
Set the out position from 0-25% (point 1)to turn on the switchglo.
Set the out position from 26-100% (point 2)to turn off the switchglo.

PM if you need more help.

Well that does not work at all. That is the exact same as I have except that I have TRIM, THRO CURVE, THRO HOLD selected/highlighted. They go on and off as a trio for some reason.

Your method does not work in STUNT and HOLD. Also you still have to select a switch for AUX2 (SwitchGlo channel).

Can't you just assign the FM switch to an AUX channel and have multiple AUX settings?

It is working by the above description EXCEPT that you have to assign a switch to AUX2 to activate it in the first place. There are no NUL switches.

The FMOD switch is a 3-pos switch.
The HOLD switch is a 2-pos switch. Hm...

I'll think about it some more.

Disable the switch in devices. The mix will still work with the aux 2 disabled in the device menu.Team Synergy Field Representative, Rail Blades, Scorpion Power Systems

Thanks to Festerdmasses I have it working.

The piece of informtion missing is that INH in DEVICE SELECT outputs neutral on the channel, disables the switch, BUT mixes into that channel still work.

THRO to AUX2 CURVE MIX is a step function at 1/4. Always ON, TRIM/THRO CURVE/THRO HOLD are INCLUDEd so that STUNT is always OFF and HOLD is always ON.

Thanks Festerdmasses !

Why doesn't Terry's suggestion work with this radio?

Glad to hear that it works.

Ben
You can activate the mix with individual flight mode selections to obtain the same effect that Terry was suggesting but it would require a couple more mixes. The method used only requires one mix to achieve all of the results. The mix menu in the XG14 makes this "easier" in the JR way of thinking. I much prefer the ATX method that Terry was asking about, but the JR menu is a tad different in that aspect.

What exactly is Terry's suggestion. I have two flight modes, START and NORMAL that I want to turn on the SwitchGlo at 1/4 throttle. STUNT (only one) is off, HOLD is always on.

I can only assume that Terry would do it like I would seeing how there are multiple ways to do things but here is my way.
1. Assign the AUX 2 to the Flight mode switch.

2. Set Aux 2 output to give me the glow on in normal and off in stunt 1 and 2.

3. Create a throttle to AUX2 mix to achieve the 1/4 throttle on/off switching for normal flight mode.

4. Create an AUX2 to AUX2 mix to turn on the glow in the Hold flight mode.

IMHO I would try a stick switch and a switch assignment together if I could avoid a mix. Switch logic should be able to switch between two AUX gains.

Thanks Terry
The stick switch idea works great also.
The only issue is the mix would still be working in stunt 1 and 2.
In the program mix you can select the stick switch and HOLD flight mode to enable.

So you cannot discreetly/individually toggle stick switching as desired in each flight condition?
