Packing it up!
I got a box in the mail last week. When I opened it up I found another box, I opened that one and found 5 more boxes, I opened one of the boxes and found some big plastic bags, I opened one of the bags and found 5 little bags, I opened one of the little bags and found some parts and some more little bags! At the end of opening all the boxes and bags, I had over 100 plastic bags!
I had to open 6 items to start on a build. I think I spent more time opening than building. The kit was packed very well, but is this a little overkill!
This was a 600 size heli kit.

Wow. That's definitely not following the eco-friendly practice of reducing packaging.

Lucky you, now you have free packing material!

With stuff being given away on the classifieds, the cost of a box can take a good chunk out of the bottom line.

Can I ask what retailer? I want to know because I'm going to ask them to ship it like you did for Wrongler!

Speaking on initial impressions. I have noticed lately that some of the most nicely packed kits can create a very false impression of quality. While opening the box I was amazed by how the kit packaging was so well thought out. How the mechanics were packaged like fine jewelry. First impression was this kit is just oozing quality. Oh how was I wrong. Holes that were not tapped that should have been, tapped holes not tapped straight, carbon fiber flaking like fish scales. Carbon fiber pieces critical to correct head geometry incorrecty cut/machined. Don't even get me started on flight qualities. It's amazing what folks will put up with so long as it's a nice static model.RCROTORPRO

Don't worry, you'll enjoy building your new Goblin 630. They are my favorite builds by far. Built 3 700s and loved every minute of it.Nick Crego

Its fast enough for some, but not everyone! You will probably make a few fast runs and think "How can I make this a little faster"? The answer is more $$$$$$$.
Are you close to flying that bad boy yet?
