i do not know if it is different with a kontronic, but i cant see a real reason for the kontronic to act so.
That is what it is designed to do, it is an indication that desired throttle percent has been reached, and the governor has been set.

It is such a mild kick you really have to be watching to see it, if it's more than that then something else is wrong.

Sorry old hippie but leaving the heli on the ground and allowing the gov to settle (it overshoots to higher hs then settles down) and then having the tail kick before taking off is not a good idea, esp. with FBL systems imho. The tail kick together with ground resonance has the potential to drive the fbl gyros crazy which may result in the heli tipping over before take-off.

You might get away with this in a flybarred heli but with fbl it will eventually bite you. Maybe you got this Kontronik expert advice before fbl was more the norm and/or earlier firmware?

Myself and the guys I fly with all 'pop' our fbl heli's off the ground once the hs is high enough. This goes for both gov'd and non-gov'd (throttle curves) as well btw.

Cheers,
TomC
