Another poll, I know you all love polls
GOP POPULARITY REACHES NEW LOW

You'd think an independent prosecutor was railing about a blue dress. Mark Blumenthal and Ariel Edwards-Levy: "There may be plenty of blame to go around for the nine-day government shutdown, but the Republican brand is taking the harder hit in public opinion. Just 28 percent of Americans have a favorable impression of the Republican Party, down 10 percentage points from last month, according to a Gallup poll. The polling firm called it a 'record low,' noting that 'this is the lowest favorable rating measured for either party since Gallup began asking this question in 1992.' While the Democratic Party isn’t popular either, it fared better, with 43 percent of Americans approving of the party -- down a comparatively small 4 points from September. The percentage of Americans rating the Republicans unfavorably also reached a record high of 60 percent, while 49 percent gave the Democrats a negative rating. Remarkably, more than one-quarter of Republicans (27 percent) viewed their own party unfavorably."

No surprise there.

Until the repubs grow up and return to their conservative roots, it will remain low or even get lower.

If the repubs win in 2014, it will be because the dems failed, not because the repubs won.

Dennis, I actually starting to think the republicans will win in 2014. And they will use the change in the voting majority to their advantage. Even though they are whining about it.

All I hope for is a no one that is there now gets to keep their position, I would love to see all new people in office.

I saw a poll a short while ago that indicated slightly higher than 60% would vote to dump every last one of them if it were an available option.

Its very possible right now. But, we still have a ways to go.

I underestimated the enemy before. Not again.

As they should. The Dems have it coming to them this time in a very, very big way.
All I hope for is a no one that is there now gets to keep their position, I would love to see all new people in office.
Yup, flush that big toilet in Washington DC.

There is nothing they understand more than suddenly being without that power and prestige of high office. Many of those positions in Washington DC are some of the most powerful and richest positions of office in the entire world. They loose the vote, they loose those positions. Period.

Updated: Tuesday, December 10 2013, 01:31 PM EST WASHINGTON (CBS) -- President Obama's job approval rating has plunged to the lowest of his presidency, according to a new CBS News poll released Wednesday, and Americans' approval of the Affordable Care Act has dropped to its lowest since CBS News started polling on the law. Mr. Obama's disapproval rating is 57 percent -- the highest level for this president in CBS News Polls.

Folks registering to vote identifying as independent now outnumber either party in many states.  Something big is happening. It could be that something good comes out of it, but it could turn into something horrifying.

Yep, his numbers are almost as low as Bush's number during the same time in his presidency.

As for that Palin picture, go BRONCOS!!!!
