Lost Touch
As I knew it would when I sold all the gear 3-4+ years ago, Helicopters maybe coming back into my life.

With current life, a second hand T-Rex 450 could fit in quite nicely.

Back before I left, a 450 SE V2 with a 401 (or higher) would be something that I would be looking for now (if you get what I mean)

So has this set up been super seeded with anything or are better options available now? (In the second hand market)
I see they do Pro's and Sports etc (and there is a L Dominator ??) but is the SE still the top when it comes to 450 size ?

Yes aware of 500's and 550's but costs etc start to go up and if I started thinking bigger I'd just end up with another Raptor 90!.....God I miss her

(BTW, still got Tx etc)

I'm suspect a Meth habit would of been easier to kick !

I think the 450 Dominator is at the top at the present time for Align's 450's. Its a monster!Bill Whittaker

No, the Sport is the successor to the SE. Many Sport parts are compatible with the SE or at least the next major subassembly. The flybarred head on the Sport was miles ahead of the SE v2.

I haven't looked at the range lately but there is also a DFC plus which kinda looks like a Sport but with a dfc head (ARF).

Im not sure if Align is making 450 Sport kits. If you want a belt drive tail, it looks like the DFC plus is it. I'm assuming you'll want to be flybarless. Otherwise, there is the 450 Pro dfc or 450L Dominator.

I fly a 450 Pro v1 thats been converted to 450 Pro Dfc (v3) crash by crash. If I had to buy new today, I'd get the Dominator if the price (don't forget 6s charger) doesn't both you.

The SEv2's are still very good birds. I have one in FBL with a AR7200bx, and it is sweet. And I have the Sport version with a flybar. I like both just the same. Both are belts. I fly off uneven grass, and dirt, so belt is my best bet.

No point buying an old se when there are plenty of used Sports and Pro's around now.60% of the time, it works every time!
