This "terrorist checklist" was initiated in Colorado.

The same state that recently thought it was a good idea to allege sexual assault on a 6 year old for kissing a classmate on the cheek.

Yeah, but go ahead and light that doobie in any town square.....nothing to see there.

WTF happened to America?

"How much will it carry?"

We always tell them; "about 25lbs." They can start there and work their way up. That should cost them a couple of planes before they give up.

Lets face it, even the Wright brothers knew the airplane could be weaponized. The high ground has always provided power and advantage over enemies.

Now that the cost is down to where almost anyone can afford to put a small weapon/plane into the air, there is a danger present. Add autonomous controllers and you have a smart weapon. It is hard to deny that fact.

You have to recognize that anything can and will be made into a weapon. People do crazy things and you should at least be aware of the people around you. The guy that is really pissed off at the government could be trouble... oh.. that is everyone?? never mind.

Definitely many ways to make an rc heli, or quad, etc. into a formidable weapon.
Lots of people are unhappy about the way our government has been handling some things, but, fortunately, most of us aren't nut cases...
congressmen notwithstanding.

Are nut cases little suitcases for squirrels or just a term used for ALL politicians?

Check this out from our FBI...
dkshema, the poster in the first post is NOT from the FBI.
It's from some independent organization localized in California. They are literally nothing more than a "neighborhood watch" group, and have as much authority as a shopping mall security guard. Observe and Report. That's all they do.

Well, not really...read a bit deeper into their site:
The Joint Regional Intelligence Center (JRIC) is a fusion center collaboration between federal, state, and local law enforcement and public safety agencies to integrate criminal and terrorism threat intelligence and provide intake, analysis, fusion, synthesis, and dissemination of that information.
The JRIC is an integral component of The National Fusion Center Enterprise, and is one of 77 DHS-designated centers in the United States.

Fusion centers serve as focal points within the state and local environment for the receipt, analysis, gathering, and sharing of threat-related information between the federal government and state, local, tribal, territorial (SLTT) and private sector partners.
DHS -- Department of Homeland Security ..

http://www.dhs.gov/state-and-major-...-fusion-centers
State and major urban area fusion centers (fusion centers) serve as focal points within the state and local environment for the receipt, analysis, gathering, and sharing of threat-related information between the federal government and state, local, tribal, territorial (SLTT) and private sector partners.
The poster is NOT from an ineffective, Paul Blart style mall cop organization. It comes from the FEDERAL government, and the Department of Homeland Security. Not your neighborhood watch group at all.

One day, in the not too far off future, the only thing we will be legally able to do without suspicion is to sit in a padded room and eat luke warm cream of wheat with our feet.

So this is the land of freedom and liberty?

While I'm being a rabble rouser, and have probably made it to the NSA watch list for this post, I read recently that the NSA snoopers have infiltrated the Gamer sites to spy on the people in the Gamer world.

Makes you wonder if there are any NSA moles here on RR, who are paid to snoop around, looking at all the subversive posts going on here.

I wonder if they're Futaba or Spektrum guys?

That FBI poster looks like it was put together by some incompetent idiot who thinks that since he gets a government paycheck, he knows something.

By the same reasoning, we can call him a communist since he seeks to control the actions of others.

Not so sure the author was a nitro guy; otherwise, he'd be more suspicious of large capacity lipo batteries. I've used a lot of the igniters mentioned and IMHO, lipo batteries are a more likely source of spontaneous ignition. LOL
Only kidding, but had to say something.
