Trex600e pro dfc vbar 5.3 pro ,Tail does not have that lock in feel

like my trex600esp with same setup .My settings 2350 rpm, tail gain

100, yaw rate 100 ,expo 50 ,tail deadband 5 ,acceleration 55, colletive

0,,coll.torque comp 22, cyclic torque comp 9 .optimizer TAIL A 10

good , was going to suggest that . The gain seemed a bit high but don't mess with that if its happy. Also you forgot to mention if it was full size or mini vbar. Have fun and enjoy the vbar they are fantastic

1) While at servo center (90 degrees servo horn) do you have a small amount of right thrust on the tail blades? About 2 degrees pitch is all you should need with 95mm blades.

2) Are the tail pitch slider endpoints maxed out to the physical limits? i.e. physically touching the ends on the shaft.

If you cannot physically touch the limits, move the linkage ball one hole further out on the servo horn. BUT be within the recommended values the vbar setup software states.

Both of these points I have learned the hard way, and solved some large tail issues in the past. Revisit these on the work bench (remove all blades first), test fly it, and report back, please.

Lastly, the "chinese" counter weights absolutely help the pirouette feel since the servo no longer fighting wind resistance, and can finally do its job with ease, effectively speeding up the servo.
