My wife's family are directly in the center path of this beast. They live in Leyte, about 20 miles sw of Tacolaban. We last talked to them on Wed night...since then we haven't heard from them at all, which is to be expected. They have a small rice farm in the jungle, that I hope will provide them enough protection from the wind. I have seen the pictures and video of downtown Tacolaban....it's wrecked.

I pray for all of those that are there and the families that are like us here that God only knows when we will hear from our loved ones.

It's VERY bad : Stoic does not describe what has happen : a Huge Network of Island's
The island's inhabit Hundreds of Thousands very densely populated . It is also supported by many Christian Missionary's - Numerous Orphanages / School's including primary health and very basic need's.

Most likely it could be day's or even week's before enough relief reaches them .

Wonder how many Nation's that are United, are going in, who they are and who is the closest ? They should be given recognition.

Going too be rough for em especially all the hundred's of orphan kid's.

Individual that I had the pleasure to meet & know ran one. He has a memorial on the Tube.

World Missionary Fellowship : Founded 1963

Sjgusmc21 praying for your family. Hope you hear from them soon. Tom

You cannot legalize morality. It's internal not external. You either have it or you don't.

Thank you shawmcky, Yeah, it's tough. Especially seeing my wife cry on and off all day....and now, I am starting to see the signs of 'hopelessness' in her eyes. I still feel they are OK....maybe not OK, but I am sure they are surviving. They have a farm, so should be plenty of meat to eat. When I hear something I will post, good or bad.

Almost all of her friends that live here have last a relative or more from Leyte. Most lived in the Town of Tacolaban and Tanauan. I hope the couple of clicks west of town was enough to spare our family.

Now if the Philippine Government would grow a pair and do what is right!

Deep Concern for those Effected / Please also know OUR relationship to the Phillipinos
Especially since it is 11/11/2013 or Veteran's Day. This is just a brief sample of what took place their : What was provided to liberate them and provide Freedom to a peaceful loving culture who was subjugated.

Few special thing's to remember 11/11 : That is also the 1st date that the Convair B-58 was Hustler was Test flown in 1956. See One then you will Never forget Vet's Day .

Personal Note:
Their is a Black and White Photo in this clip - I sure wish I could see it Not cropped out on the perimeter or a selection of the same series of when they where taken - I believe my Pop is in them .

Please carry deep concerned Prayer for all of them - The Number's are astonishing - Number's of the Home Less -Number's of Orphan's.
Those are the helpless.

Good NEW's : They are under the care of the United States Military and every available Air and Navel resource is landing. Civilian Christian Missionary's are beginning to flood in also. many AMERICAN's inhabit the Island's - The relationship is symbiotic since the WAR

Know the Heritage and Relationship between our Cultures - We could not have done it with out them.

Our family made it! All of them. Theirs and only one other house remains standing in the province. They have food (farmers) but water is scarce. They are living off of banana's and coconuts (some meat from the farm animals). I hope they get water soon! Thank you all for your prayers and interests. God bless them all!
