Hi All,

Very very excited to say the least, got my birthday present early this year :-) The Mrs unfortunately wont let me build it yet but I can still look at it, even though it is killing me not being able to put it together yet, 13 days and counting.

The reason for the post, I am new to the world of the goblin and appreciate all the advice I can get. Between now and build day I am getting together all the parts I need, so far ...

This is not the competition model so I have bought the 2.5mm body frames

Scorpion HK 4525 520kv Ultimate
CC Ice2 160 HV
Mini Vbar (getting upgraded to pro)
Savox 2271 and 2272 on the tail
R6303SB receiver

Planning on running a second battery for the servos and receiver

Want to govern at 2000 but not sure if I should use the vbar or the CC for governing. Was also thinking 22t pinion for this head speed ...

Got 2 5000mah 22.2v Swaytronic 35/70C to put in as well

quiet nervous about it all as I dont have much experience with FBL, have been running a trex250 on a mini vbar and it is rock solid, tried to put a mini vbar on a 450 which was a total disaster ...

This isnt my first "big boy" heli though, but this is another class all together :-)

Anything else I should get ? BLING suggestions welcome too

if at first you dont succeed, destroy any evidence of having tried in the first place ...

a very very good flyer at our field,(placed 9th in the US two years ago) has had some failures with the Savox servos. I personally wont go near these based on his experience.

I should mention he does push the envelope all the time. Maybe the issues were brought on by the hard use he put them through.
