Anyone know if the Spektrum RPM sensor SPM9569 can be used with the Align RCE6600 governor? Looks like it would have to be wired to the Align plug, but otherwise would it pick up the RPMs for the governor?

Exactly what I needed. I just have so much trouble getting search to give me results I can use. Sorry to be a pain.

Jim.

EDIT --- following experiment and discussion with meowguy...

If you buy and use THIS version:

It is PLUG and PLAY. Ready to go, works AS IS.

-----

If you buy and use THIS version:

You'll need an adapter such as this:

It gets you to the JST connector AND it swaps the red and brown wires. Install, go fly.

Swap the red and black wires, go fly.
Do not swap any wires. The info in the above post is wrong as I have discussed this with Dave.

Simply plug the Spektrum sensor into the Align governor as is. You will then be able to turn on the system, turn over the motor by hand and see the Align governor blink on every revolution of the engine.

I have both sensors. The wiring is different and needs to be swapped.

See the above post. We are not talking about the same sensor. I am using the one with the small plug and it is plug and play with the Align Governor.

Has anyone ever successfully connected the Spektrum sensor to the Align Governor and to the Spektrum Telemetry Module? If so, how exactly did you do it?

I know that it is not quite as simple as making a "Y" harness because I tried it with the Temp-Volt harness supplied and it did not work.
