Be careful when leaning out the low-speed side of things. It is quite easy to end up with a decent bottom end that works up till about 75 or 80% throttle, then suddenly have a very lean motor from 80% up, lean enough to damage the motor internals.

Starting from the factory settings (you'll have to be able to see down the venturi to get the factory setting for the low speed needle), maintain any idle using the throttle trim, not the adjustment.

Adjust the low speed needle to get a good transition from idle up to hovering. Then go about adjusting the main needle for power and consistent full-throttle performance. Keep it just a bit on the rich side.

Go back and fine-tune the low-speed setting, then give the top-end a final check or two. The two needles interact.

If memory serves me well, main needle is 1&1/4 to 1&3/8 on CP 30%.
