homemade air filter, MA info needed
You may see I had another thread going in which I have been searching for an air filter. My requirements are:

1. must attach without a pip clamp for a clean look.
2. have a K&N style replacable filter element.
3. be chromed like K&N
4. Be slim and compact when installed

Since I could not locate one of thes, I am going to build my own. I am going to use Miniature Aircraft's MA125-124 as the basis. I am then either going to replace the outer cover with a K&N air like from KN62-1480 or bolt this cover over top of the MA cover before installing the bolts. If I replace the cover, I will probably build internal stand-offs so the cover does not get crushed.

What I was wondering,is if somebody could post some pics of the MA filter mounted and removed with internals shown and also the dimension of the outer cover.

Thanks
