A Bluetooth device is normally paired to an iOS device by doing the following things:

One your iOS device, locate the "Settings" icon. It looks like gears on the face of the icon. Once that opens, you'll see a selection for "Bluetooth". Touch that, and make sure Bluetooth is turned on. The iOS device goes into discoverable mode at this point. Turn on your Ground Station Bluetooth device and put it into pairing mode however they tell you to do that. Once the DJI device is in pairing mode, it will show up on the iOS device. If supplied, there will be an authorization code that you need to enter on the iOS device to link the two together. Enter that link code. That's it.

It's possible that DJI has you do something different, and I don't have a Bluetooth ground station to try this with. But, this is how it's done for other Bluetooth devices, including their Bluetooth adaptor for Naza (which I do have, and works fine) so I expect the Ground Station BT module will pair the same way...

You don't actually "pair" your ipad to the ground station. Just open the app and it will start a search for the ground station. You have to have everything hooked up and turned on, even the naza or wkm controller.

I had the pair my BT module for WKM and Naza, and have the device pairings on the iPad to show for it. But, that was also pre-production software, so maybe you don't have to do that anymore?

Either way, between the 2 methods posted, electro212 should be on his way.

The Data Links are paired so only those in the box work together. I tried to link a single ground link to two air links and it would not work, so now I have one set for my F550 and one for my S800. As was said, you don't link in the traditional sense. You turn on BT in your device and then open the app and allow it to find the BT on your ground link. I have had to restart my iPad mini several times including holding the front button down to reset to get it to bind. Be patient and experiment. It will work.

TE interesting you say that. I flew mine and a friend's birds on the same ground radio and iPad.

Possibly a FW difference between us?

Not sure. Mine is on the latest and greatest. The Air Links are mounted on a A2 and a Naza V2 F550. That may have a difference as well.
