Ok so I just got the phoenix edge 160 amp esc with the fan for my compass 7hv v2 I went to set the end points up on it like the ice lite by zeroing the throttle servo and slowly going up till it beeps. My throttle curves are 0 25 50 and so on. I went back through the instructions and it doesn't really address the end points. I did program the esc for fixed end point and I'm not running the governor. I have everything programmed to where I want it. I just want to understand how it's setting the end points. Or if I am doing something wrong. The instructions say u can fly right out of the box so it seems it sets the end points every time u turn it on. I want to be sure. If someone can help me out that would be great. Thanks

If you're using futaba you have to reverse the throttle channel.

Set your end points or travel adjust to 50% and start at full throttle or collective, then plug in the ESC! Once it beeps start to go up with your end point or travel adjust until it completes the beeping! Then drop your throttle and do the same, once it initializes unplug and your set!

You can fly right out of the box as it says! But it won't be exactly synced with your radio as far as 100 in your radio being 100 in the ESC But it's really close! I've flown both ways and couldn't tell any difference....

I tried starting at 50 going up I didn't get a beep at all for throttle at 100% but I did get a beep around 84 with the throttle at zero. After I got the beep for low throttle I tried high throttle again still nothing

I did a test flight and barley had enough power for take off. It seems as if my end point for full throttle isn't going to 100%. Cause when I got to zero the esc won't arm. The red light keeps on flashing. I've tried raising the trim and everything I double check all my wiring and everything is as it should be. I'm out of ideas on what to try next. How can I set it back to factory settings. Should I try it in airplane mode?

Check everything in the radio that has to do with throttle! Throttle curves, Sub trim, Also the actual trim on the radio.

The red light flashing means you have throttle input from somewhere.

What fbl unit are you using?

If you want to reset it, use the castle link and hit set to default next to the save setting Button in the castle software.

What radio?

I know that with Futaba 50% is really zero in some cases.

I'm using the dx7s I think I fount the problem I opened up the transmitter and took the throttle block out spektrum puts a piece of plastic at top and bottom. The top block didn't allow me to achieve 100% throttle which is why it wouldn't initiate. I have if fixed now and going to test fly it soon thx for all the help
