It would be nice if the Multirotor Fest and Heli Fest events were either on adjacent weekends or at least a few months apart. It's a bit much to make the trip to Austin twice within a 30-day period. Maybe have one in the spring and one in the fall.

This event was so much fun to do. I want to say thank you to all the sponsors, volunteers and great people who came to the event.

Brian, thank you for sharing your videos and spec. You are an amazing FPV pilot, and it was allot of fun to hang out and fly FPV.

Allan, thank you for showing off the Sky Hero, That machine is amazing. I did not know that you can fly over 100mph with a multi rotor. And with Brian flying the Sky Hero in FPV just topped it off to being so cool to see. I will post my video later.

Curtis, thank you so much for helping me get the racing part done, and setting up the field to do some amazing races. We had a lot of Stingrays at the event, and we all had great fun flying these amazing machines.

I will also post some pictures soon.

I have a need.... a need for speed... Check out this 113MPH FPV speed flight with a Sky Hero. Who says a Multi Rotor can not go fast. The Austin Multirotor event was on fire this weekend. Brian was the FPV pilot.

Try making both of them from Florida!

So the Radar Gun was set to KPH. So the actually speed was 70MPH. Still that is not bad at all.

I have tested this model with a gps strapped to it and it usually is around 98mph.

flying FPV Brian wasn't really getting into the power until just over the runway.

No worries though my friends.

We have several setup that can do over 100mph. In fact we will release a formula motor package that will do 120mph.

We are just now playing with speed and the numbers will only go up

In addition the combo version makes a fabulous camera platform.

thanks guys and have a great day

Sounds like a new thing to add for next year. FPV Speed Racing. Instead of using a radar gun, we can strap a GPS onto the model, or we can race two models at the same time.

Allan, let us know when the formula pack is ready. I am in. That will be the ultimate fun.

I have the bug on order for some practice in the meantime.
