Any found good replacement blade for the stock plastic 68mm blades. The plastic one seem to wear down on the tip.

I am having a wag issue on mine. Thinking due to larger blades and silly high head speed. Anyone else needing to run very low gain?

you don't have run a high head speed. I'm running 3200. And its fine at 2700 (had the wrong gear ratio and i was running this low lol). How every swap out the 3gx with a mini vbar and replace the ESC with a CC EDGE 50. Now that the mini vbar is governor the motor. The tail is rock solid at any speed. I think 3GX need to think about support for phase sensors. But like i said i noticed that the blades are growing a mushroom head on the tips from take off and landings. I will post a picture later.

I think align is soon to release some 70mm carbon blades.
. Anyone else needing to run very low gain?
I am at 16% on a Spartan vortex. No wag and locked in solid.

Finally got to maiden mine after a few set backs and lack of time.

Running a Mini V using the gov with a CC Edge. Super easy and clean setup with the built in sensor.

I only have 3 flights on mine and had to lower the gain substantially, 38 @3700HS to stop wagging. Visibility was poor, overcast and getting near dusk when I tested so I didn't feel comfortable stretching any backwards stuff out and getting it moving fast. So far holding well though. Also would like to get my vibe #s lower . Anyone with a vbar check theirs in flight?

We'll I can tell you this. When I first put on a vbar my HS was around 2700 because I used an in correct gear ratio. But the tail held good . Now I'm running 3100 - 3300 , also no wag etc. However in hard stops like in tic toc I get some fast wags. I'm playing around with I/P gain and pre comp but have not found a sweet yet. Also I suspecting my ele/Ali setup might not be prefect. As far was vibes , I have not noticed any in both log and live view. I'm using 2 layers of clear 3m tape.

I've got a few flights on mine now and, Yes the tail blades are too close to the ground. I would almost call it stupid. With the vertical fin on the left and the heli needing to lean to the right while hovering it's almost impossible not to scrape the blades during take off and landing even on a flat surface. Not to mention flying in grass that's just asking for trouble. I'm going to come up with an extension bolted to the tail fin for now. I don't really like the idea of something extra to fall off by the tail rotor but I don't want to strip any gears. It will end up lifting the rear of the skids off the ground but in grass it won't be noticeable I don't think.
