Maybe it's illegal to drink it.... or have an open container.
Texas has open container laws for alcohol. lol

Used to buy a couple of gallons of Red Max every weekend at Flo-Mow just outside of Raytown/Belton, when I lived there between 1984-1987.

Must be a rumor started by the LiPo conspiracy guys.

I think they probably encourage drinking it! Each time I have traveled through Missouri the gas stations have a container at the register full of mini bottles of whiskey, bourbon and vodka instead of the typical candy or chewing gum.

They always ask if I am sure about not throwing in a few bottles with my fountain drink... as I hit the road!!!

If fuel was not allowed in MO then there'd be some WOO fans that'd be upset -

Never heard that around here either, and plenty of fuel flyers around.

Yes, good ole Flo-Mow....memories there! Made many 'flying' runs up to
his shop on the bike for fuel/parts/blades in those first few years.

Now my friend is going to ask me to go to Missouri before getting to Indiana (IRCHA) next year.
U need to go to a liquor Store and show your ID in Indiana.

Very few HS near me have heli fuel any more . Not much fuel for anything at all really. Being that electrics have gained a lot of popularity from all aspects of the hobby. Boats, cars, planes and helis. When I wanted to fly a little nitro again with a NX4 I had to travel 1 hr to buy fuel . I guess one might think it was illegal .
