Magic.
Lol! It is a simple design....but it took evil genius to make it work. Hope Next D sells a whole swarm of them. Then we can have a race leauge for them.
And if the movie companies ever see FPV footage.... Maybe a lil less CGI in our movies.

Stingray kit expensive.
If you breakdown the flight controls and the kit... I think its a Bargain. Considering most FBL controllers run >$200. Servos, Speed controller..?$$?

This Quad can do things other ships can't.....

And a Parrot AR Drone cost... $300.

May be a better deal than you think.

It wasn't a value judgement, it was a dollar judgement. $800 is a lot of money. I wouldn't say that you get a lot for your money, it's a bit pricey for what it is, but it's not too bad. I wasn't whining about it, I said it costs a lot of money. Wish i was in a tax bracket where $800 was cheap, but sadly those 7 figure incomes seem to elude me.

The crash costs are what keep me at the other end of the ten foot pole. Rebuilding a single tail section on my Rave 450 was costly, now there are four of them.

Enjoy things that money can buy IF you don't lose the things money can't buy.

I don't know, we'll see when people start crashing them. I heard an interview with Curtis where he talked about crashing it and there being no damage, or something tweaked a bit but he kept flying it. Made it sound pretty tough. Of course who knows until I drive it into the ground.

I would like to recognize the outstanding customer support from Brian Butler of CJ Youngblood Enterprises Inc. I preordered the StringRay (first CJ Youngblood product) but knew I would have difficulty with the TG Multi because of being color blind and not really liking the blinking light push button setup; prefer software setup like the HC3SX or IKon. Anyway Brian said if I had any difficulty let him know and he would help. On Friday I attempted to complete the setup and was unsuccessful so it was time to call Brian. I asked to setup an appointment for Monday during business hours but Brian invited me to his home on Saturday (we do not know each other) and he had me setup and running within an hour. He actually took more time on the wiring than it did to setup the TG Multi. This is customer support! Thanks Brian and CJ Youngblood Enterprises Inc!

Now for the maiden in two hours!

CYE Customer service
Your not the first person Brian has gone outta his way to help.

I watched him fight my FBL controller on my ENV for hours. Curtis wrenched for most of a day on my new Heli to find a defective OS motor....after flying from overseas that am.

These guys are a CLASS act.

Curtis, when setting the receiver type there is one that doesn't appear to be used. I think it was option 3. What is that for? I was wondering about PPM support, that would enable the TG Multi to hook up single line to a Jeti receiver.

Eury,

Actually we could setup many more radio options, we just have to know their protocol. If someone knows the way to contact them about their protocol we will be happy to add it.

Curtis,

Call Danny Melnik at Esprit models to establish the Jeti protocol.

Whoop got mine together mostly last night.

A few notes -

- Overall the mechanics go together in two hours or so taking your time, I haven't programmed the electronics yet.

- Be careful with the rotor pulleys as they're soft aluminum and you can cross thread the set screw easily.

- I believe one of the front or rear outer support blocks for the drive shaft should have came un-assembled since there is no way to mount both pulleys without removing one of the supports.

- I noticed the manual calls for two shims on the motor shaft, however you can't engage the motor pulley enough for the set screw with two, so I only used one.

- A wish list would include -
- Perhaps another flat of CF to mount the pack, there's no way to stretch the pack front to rear or mount it really to anything other than the round tube with some velcro.
- I was really looking forward to some more of that kickass next d velcro that came with the raves
- I haven't messed with it much, but I'm not entirely sure about the longevity of the rear canopy mounts since part gets folded up every time you open it up.

Overall nice build and look forward to flying!

I would like to build a big one of those, but a lot bigger, using a gasser motor and swing some big props like 4 or 6 26 incher and using it has UAV Drone, that would be neat !

P.S. sorry for the spelling or the grammar I am dyslexic!
