My Align Trex 550E V2 FBL is working very well with Mini-VBar and the stock Align 70A ESC. Now I am trying to install a fuselage on it but I am not sure if I have to increase/upgrade by changing the existing ESC amps due to the fact that the fuse will add more weight in order to compensate with the load. Do I need to add a BEC? If so what is the specs?
Please advise. I greatly appreciate your replies and thank you for your time and attention.

The fuse won't be near as much a strain on the power system as doing hard 3D.

Should be fine.

But if you do go a little bigger, the OS 1100HV 100A is cheap at $180 and mine is flying awesome in my 700 on 12S.

I literally never use the word literally right.

The Castle Talon 90 is half that price, has a capacity of 20 amps more than what he is currently using with no problems, and has built-in regulator that is overkill for his application.

If it was me doing this.
I would use the stock ESC unless I was adding lights and servos for retracts.
the Talon would be the an upgrade for this application if I didn't want or need data logging. Which I wouldn't need nowadays.

Believe if I were to upgrade the esc, I'd spend the extra for the O.S 100a. Might get one or two flights out of the castle cremations before the whole bird go's up in smoke.
