Setting up a GT5 for a friend using SBUS, that is working well.
Also using an external governor, ProJockey needing external ch3 and 7

PART 1
Problems:
I get no signal output of the R6202, ch2 and 3 ports unless I use Ch7 frequency modulation on the Transmitter.
I pluged in 2 servos to check the output and they dont work when I set the radio on Mult or Mult2.

Question 1: Is CH7 frequency modulation my only choise or is there something wacked here?

PART 2
Lets say I settle for the modulation that works. (CH7 in this case)

-I plugged the throttle ch from the Governor to rx port 3 and and is good. Throttle servo works through the gov.

-Only ch2 port is open on the receiver, which in this case mimics the elevator.

-I need to control the gain for the governor.

Question 2: Can I somehow make the ch2 off the RX control the governor gain without screwing off the elevator signal? In other words, have output for channel 7 out of the RX open ch2 slot?

Chago,
The 6202 auto selects during the lining process based on what mode the transmitter is in. Repeat the linking with the transmitter in FAST multi/-2 and it should link up.
You cannot feed channel 7 to the ch 2 slot. You can only, via the function menu, determine the function of the channel two slot. You will need to tell me if your peripherals will allow channel function reordering so that you can drive your governor via the receiver's pwm slots and then take care of then take care of the fbl stuff with 4 and up via S.Bus. This is easy with a 750 using its S.Bus menu.

Like I said on the 1st post, is a GT5 flybarless.

The R6202 is linking up in all FASST modes, full SBUS control to the FBL unit,

but

CH 2 and 3 slots will ONLY work in FASST CH7 mode.
You cannot feed channel 7 to the ch 2 slot.
I was afraid of that.

I know how to change the channel functions, BUT the GT5 wont allow me to program the slots to my liking.

HOWEVER!
I may have found ch 7 signal coming out from the slot 7 (Term) slot off the GT5. Not sure yet.
Slot 8, also free, seems to be sending ch5 output.

I got something to work with.
thanks Ben.

I saw what fbl system you were using. The basis for my comment was whether the system would allow you to juggle S.Bus channel ordering within the device similar to the way a 750 will.

Thanks again Ben

I read and searched through the pathetic instructions (factory Ace manual) and cannot find any mention channel juggling ability.
There is a lot to be desired. Seems like the unit has output from ch 1 through 6 and it ends there.
I may try binding again in Mult2 instead of FASST CH7, and check if the output is any different.

If that does not work, we either stay and fly without a gov, or switch to a std RX like the R617.

At this point is no fault off the R6202, is just limitations from that fbl unit.

Chago.
