I was just curious on where you guys stored your charged and uncharged batteries. I know some guys don't leave them in the house. just wanted to know if you if you had fire safes or what not.

Trying not to put them in the dirt.

I keep mine in a Sentry Fireproof safe in the basement on a cement floor.

I got lucky... I noticed the neighbor across the street put the safe out to the curb because their punk kid tried breaking into it and busted the lock. The latch worked perfectly, and I swiped it!

It holds 6 6S Pulse batteries, and about 10-12 miscellaneous 2, 3 and 4-cell packs I use for receivers, my starter, planks and what-not.

This is the model: http://www.sentrysafe.com/Products/...FIRE-SAFE_Chest

Ones sitting in my heli, two lifes on my table, some lipos on the shelves, a new one in box, ones in the garbage. Ones in my starter.

After reading other peoples posts maybe I should move these batts to a safer location. Not to mention my fuel is also stored in the shelves.

Hmm.

I don't like safes or ammo cans because if one lipo goes up,it destroys ALL of them.

I'm actually working on an ice tray type divider system for my cart.

I store mine by strapping them to a 5 gallon can filled with gas laying in pile of kindling covered by align helis. I use this method particularly for nanotech batteries.

Man, I miss the eighties.
