Added two carbon fiber boom supports and most of the wag is gone. Seems a lot more locked in. It doesn't look the best but works for me.
It would be interesting to try a kbbd tail on it now.
Note this is on the mcpx bl

Just put on 47 mm kbbd tail blade.... absolutely no wag with the boom supports and new tail blade... really love it now!

Just did a test flight outside in about 15mph.... huge improvement.... did some funnels and the tail was rock solid... before it was wagging really bad during a funnel......

Tail wag on mcpx bl
What did you use to mount the carbon rod supports? Can't get rid of severe wag!

I changed to the solid tail boom and it got rid of almost all of my wag. I dont / cant do hard 3d and i dont really know what a funnel is but i know mine was a different bird with the solid boom.

Have fun, Fly safe!!

That's Awesome work Patriot. Wish someone would come out with aftermarket boom support rods for the stock frame. I changed my stock boom to Lynx extended solid boom w/Lynx 42mm tail rotor and I didn't feel it made much of a difference for me with tail wag. However, increasing my gain did seem to help a little but it's not totally gone and unfortunately I see bounce back during pirrouette stops. May try the 47mm tail rotors to see if that improves things any.
