Looks cool, but the first video doesnt leave much room for helis, cars seats or, even groceries. In other words it's kinda like buying a $500,000 super car: can't use it for practical means and the family cant enjoy it with you.

The second design doesn't look like it would be stable enough to used commercially; the flying surface area seems too small and the CV-22 style propulsion system would be a handful for your average soccer mom which is why I suspect it's only depicted in CGI.

I think that Terrafugia ver2 missed the point.

If the collapsible twin rotors are good enough for takeoff and landing, then they should be good enough for forward flight and forget the pusher in the tail end.
