I have used that with sony Vegas pro 12 .. does a good job but there is still some distortion at the edge .. about 80% better than Raw GoPro footage though.

Lens
I just changed lenses to a 5.8mm non-fisheye lens. Can use photoshop then.

On a dog sled team, if you're not the lead dog, the view never changes.

Did you ever get this software?
They offer a free trial version on the web page. Although I don't use a Go-Pro, the stabilizing part does interest me.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

GF, I have this and it's great for a standalone solution that does not take a whole lot to figure out. It pretty much does as advertized. There's better out there, but they cost a considerable amount more.
