How is this done??

I'm not sure exactly how to do the prog mix in that radio. Also, it is connected with the cable loom and this does not allow me to change the channel assignments after the initial set up flights to then activate the bailout. Its X-Bus which i thnk is not supported and it has a standard rx and this was the only setting that gave us a connection.

Im sure its simple when you know but right now Im not 100% sure even though when playing with a copied model setting I had it working I was just not confident I had done it right at all.

Any help or pointers to a vid would be great.

I have set it up a few times on my Futaba 14SG but thats using S-Bus and I can follow the vids but just left clueless with this.

It is the same.
You just give -100% on the stabilisation channel, regardless if it is transferred through cable loom or s-bus.
S-bus is more convinient because you can set up channels like you want, here you have to look on the attachment on the software screen and follow it.

Ive done it once with a heli but i changed to a s-bus receiver so i do not remember what channel it was, but i tink it was 5.

The 3SX uses Futaba channel 7 for controlling the Head Gyro.

I don't own a JR radio at the moment, but it should be Aux 2 or the channel following collective.

Use the Diagnose page of the software to find out which switch or channel is sending the head gyro signal.

Then you will make two program mixers of that channel and. Master and slave to itself.
- One Mixer will control signal between 1500us to 2100us. (JR 0 to +110)
-The second mixer from 1500us to900us (JR 0 to -110)

In other words, switch A (PM mix 1) controls from center to left, and switch B (PM mix 2) controls from center to right.

Use a value of around 85 to start with.

Thanks guys.

I'll get the tx in my hands and have a go.

I did tell him to just buy a Futaba radio instead of this thing he just picked up lol.

Think I got it all done.

Well on the Diagnosis tab everything is doing what it should be. Took 3 prog mixes which has gave me 2 self levels and the rescue so it should be good.

Thanks for your help

Superb. Not flown yet but everything is acting as it should and the lights on the unit are going green when rescue and SL are activated so it should be all good.

I done a vid and sent it to Josh to have a quick look over and all does appear to check out so we will fly

Im concerned as its not my model and knowing my luck he will test the bailout and it will drive the model in to the ground lol. So I told him to go up to 500ft lol and try it but all should be fine. The prog mixes were the confusing part on the radio. Do you want to see the vid Santiago to check??

I cant believe myself I have only just started using them recently as they are fantastic

thanks for all the help

LED should be solid green for SL and flashing green for rescue.
