Falling missle
I hate to poo in the middle here, but a reality is if this was closer over the field, this falling blender could have hit another pilot or spotter who may not have a chance to run from harms way. It's another reason to fly a little further out and higher. Just a thought to consider since we see how such random rapid things can happen, even with a seemingly well built machine.

Please keep this in mind as we enjoy this video. I still get a kick out of the guy's reactions and words.

Maybe they should call it RDC instead of DFC, for
Rapid Disassembly [out of] Control.

On a serious note, I know it was a 800 but that has happened to many of my Align 700 Helis even after spending many hours going over the heli and thread locking every metal to metal bolts.

An 800 reduced to a .008 in split second. DFC caused boom strike. I will not use DFC Head. Never! Seems to ridged to me.

Hey: he meant to do that. Ok? YOU try to spot land YOUR heli in the middle of the field with no boom attached like that. Just try. That took perfect skill, and many practice landings to get it right.

Just joking.

NAH!
Is that "locked in feel" of the dfc. Once the head locks on that boom, it becomes a drone baby. LOL
