Yes it does change throw to where you want it . It does not change the the range of cyclic max throw you have programed.
Setup is everything, All my heli's can fly far better than I can pilot them

"You set the actual roll and flip rates It the software expo on your radio."

Respectfully, this is not quite correct...

The cyclic control throws are set up in Step 0 "Receiver" in the "Setup Guide" part of the software. These are not adjusted in the transmitter after this.

The maximum rate of flip and roll are set in the software "Performance" tab under "EleRate" and "AilRate."

The rate at which the Robird accelerates with a cyclic control input is adjusted with "EleAgility" and "AilAgility."

You can use the Expo in the "Performance" tab of the software or in the transmitter.

I asked about this early on, as I also wanted to try it.

The explanation that I received was that the instructions for setting it from the transmitter were never released, as it was much easier to set it up accurately using a computer.

I never pursued it after that.

I would start with the "Sport" settings on the Performance tab. Sport is pretty mellow. This is good for cruising and mild aerobatics.

Once it checks out and feels ok, then I would up it to "3D," assuming you are into 3D.

"Sport" and "3D" are starting points for tuning. In some cases, they are quite close to optimal.

From there set the maximum rate of flip and roll in the software "Performance" tab under "EleRate" and "AilRate."

The rate at which the Robird accelerates with a cyclic control input is adjusted with "EleAgility" and "AilAgility." This adjustment provides you with control "feel." To high and it will feel jerky. Too low and it will feel sluggish. You can adjust it a bit at a time until if feels exactly how you want.

yes. I had to change the setting where u select what the orientation of the gyro so it corrects the proper way but forgot to check it the sticks on the tx was correct. it started to tip to the left so I added right ail and it was actually adding more left. I repaired everything and reversed the ail in my radio and the remaiden was great. I set it to 3d but the elevator flips wasn't smooth. was a lil jerky so I lower the agility for elevator correct? by how much? I think it's 1500 stock settingR I P Roman Jr. Team SRW EFC

Drop the EleAgility about 20 points at a time until you get it where you like it.

There is a setting for this as I understand it. Go to the performance tab and page 18 in the manual. Read the description under the Pitch=>Elevator. I believe this addresses your situation.Setup is everything, All my heli's can fly far better than I can pilot them
