I am sure it will handle the vibration just fine. |

I fly gassers but my Robird is going on my 450. I have heard of gassers with the IKON but self leveling does not work....I have not heard of anyone trying a Robird on a gasser but if so I sure would like to hear about it!Setup is everything, All my heli's can fly far better than I can pilot them |

When I was researching I saw some videos of a guy flying a Trex gasser conversion on the Robird. Probably over on HF. I'm sure if you search you can find it.Nick Crego

Although I haven't flown it yet it is very easy to set up. The only real minor problem was my fault in that the tail bus is separate and must be powered by the other bus in some way. I thought it was dead,,,but I was just dumb. If I read all the directions I would have seen that ,,,,duh!!!Setup is everything, All my heli's can fly far better than I can pilot them |

What sucks is when you plug power into the port they say not to apply power too and you burn up 75 bucks in a split second. |

It should work fine on your gasser. Follow the instructions.Make sure your mechanical setup on the throttle linkage is perfect. I make take a few minutes to get that worked out.The gov works great on IC and E setups. |

I ordered a Robird G31 for my Trex 600N after my BeastX died. The setup was fairly simple with the software and it was ready to go in as little as 30mins. My first impression of the maiden flight was great. The Robird flew great out of the box. No adjustments made after the maiden flight. For the price; this FBL controller is hard to beat and I would not be afraid to try this on other helis. I do sport flying with mild 3D and the Robird was solid.Frank_C |

Well I finally maidened my Robird on my old 450. Flew great the first time. I had set up the heli with my Soko heli tool. Between the Robird and the Soko the bird was bang on!! Have any of you guys messed with the Vibration Analysis tool?? I was reading back the previous flight and every so often the main blades spiked in vibration. I assume it was when I did full collective inputs but want to make sure that is typical.
So far very happy.Setup is everything, All my heli's can fly far better than I can pilot them |

I read somewhere that a guy programmed it using the BeastX instructions. Never tried it myself since I hate that kind of setup, but he said it worked fine.Nick Crego

If I remember correctly the 8 degrees cyclic is so the flybarless system knows the geometry of the head. You can then adjust the amount of cyclic I think in the performance section tab.Setup is everything, All my heli's can fly far better than I can pilot them |

You must set the cyclic at 8 degrees in the setup. This is so the Robird knows what the pitch is in relation to the servo movement.
You set the actual roll and flip rates It the software expo on your radio. As for the collective. I would start at 10 degrees and deviate from there as needed for your flying style. If you need further assistance shoot me a PM. If I cannot answer the question. A buddy of mine is a Robird demo pilot. There are a few really nice guys flying the Robird. Any of us are always more than happy to help someone out. |

You set the actual roll and flip rates It the software expo on your radio. With all due respect expo is expo. It does not change throw ...it just changes the rate of throw.Setup is everything, All my heli's can fly far better than I can pilot them |
