Lol...up your game, nah no worries Ed that super scale your building is gonna be pretty awesome. Actually I think I may be over doing things with all this detail, I'm so used to building scale models that I think this thing needs all the bling bit really it doesn't. But I am having a great deal of fun figuring things out and building them.

Turn out to be a good weekend for building! Im still getting over cold but nobody wanted to be around me while im still coughing and sneezing. So better for me today i got the doors hinged and locking very nicely. And i started on the second row seat base for the seat and cup holders. Im trying to finish the cut out on top of the doghouse so i dont have to take the rotor head off to remover doghouse.

It was nice to see the MC 407s at topgun and show that the MC 407 is still popular Scale fuselage. I noticed alot of people comments on emile and Richard 407 i wished i still had my my old sheriff's office 407 helicopter . I really like the tandem flight emile and Richard did.

Damn I hate I missed the show

Ed you are doing an absolutely awesome job on your new 407.

I am trying to get mine ready for Dalton even if all the attachments are not on it and it doesn't look as good as everybody else's. I only have to finish the tailboom then it will be ready for paint.

Hey Edward, I finally replaced and realigned my side doors and put a brace on both sides of fuse to push out the inside so everything on the outside is flush, not sure what the hell happened, I just did a complete over haul on the major stuff since it was apart cause I was going to put the sound card in so I have new stuff in and decided not to do sound card I just don't have the room to do it.. Rich,
That's probably what I'll have to do to mine. I've aligned my doors sanding and using steam to bend and align the doors. not too bad but time consuming. Gonna cut my front doors like the GX models and vacuum form new front door windows, right after I build a vacuum former.

thanks guys!! I was having making maths to see if weight/power was scale!!

I don't know if you guys made those maths, but both of yours are within weight limitation!

Lets say we have full scale Bell 407, empty weight would be approximatively 2700 lbs and full gross weight is 6000 lbs. The scale on the Marvelcraft is aprrox 1/7 if I am not mistaken! So that would give us between 7.87 lbs empty weight to 17.49 lbs full gross weight!

And now do you guys want to tell me what motor you are using if we would like to check the weight to power ratio!?

For me im running a align 700mx 3500watt 510 kv which gives me 7-7 1/2 minutes flight time on 8s. And my new 407 is going to run the same setup just different mechanics,

Well guys I'm getting out of the RC helicopter hobby. I will be selling off my helicopters and equipment. I don't see myself spending the time or money required for this type of hobby, as things in my life have changed which require me to be away for extended periods of time. I'll make a list of things I will be selling soon. Anybody interested in my 407 let me know.
