Hey Ed,
Like Emile said, we did visual surgery on the Roban 407 today starting with those hinges.

Barry (Mojave) PMd me also about it LOL. Barry said Airstar makes scale metal hinges which would be real nice so I will check on them.

The door handles will go as well as those fuel vents that don't belong there.
That's a start as there are a few things that we scale lovers notice right away that have to go or be changed
The nose is missing the vents and the pitot tube needs to be moved...
All this being said, I really like the Roban 407 and will do my best to fix the scale deficiencies.

Back to the MC 407, yes I am sticking with the FURA color scheme.
Since I have a weakness for scale helicopters I get over my head sometimes with too many projects.
Rich (206 pilot) has also offered to paint it for me and Emile is always going out of his way for me.
so I do appreciate you guys' support!

This years' Dalton meet will be extra fun for me with at least some of my projects completed!

Joe at Vario east coast scale is having a big sale with 25 0/0 off which can save a lot of money so you might check them out.

If I have enough money I will buy a kit from him now just to save on the cost and put it in line on my builds LOL.

I've sold two helis so far and am selling a few more to open up room and save up money for my future BIG project

Hey guys,
Emile may be smiling in that pic but trust me, the wind was howling and shifting and he flew it like there was no wind.

his 407 looks great and it looks like the real thing flying around.
I stopped taking pics just to watch it

well guys I've been able to get some work done on the 407 these past few weeks. The IP was a pain in the ass and my OCD really kicked in to, but I've managed to get it looking ok. I'm building a 407gx with the expanded instrument panel, it's difficult to find good photos of the gx panel so this is gonna have to do. I've also started building my seats and rear bulkhead. Let me know what ya'll think.
