Rich for four of my heli I'm using the Delight lite kit from Demention engineering. With a 8 channel lite board that's prograrmable and two of the channels can handle up to 2 watt LEDs and the LEDs that come with it r 1 watt LEDs hell look how bright they are on my Bell 412.

a 4 blade set takes no time r patience at all, its just like balancing a pair twice try a five blade set with the spiral paint pattern, thats a real test of time and patience

Hey Rich the board is programmable so all you have to do is make a flash file, either to strobe or flash like a beacon but if u use the white that comes with the kit the strobes r viable in the day from over 500 yards away and really bright at night.

Watch at YouTube

heres my 412 in the day time. And this is lighted with 1landing light,1front mounted search ligjt, duel red and duel green position lights, duel rear white position light. The horz, stab have duel strobes in white, under the fuse rear is a single white strobe and under the front of the fuse behide the search light a red strobe and all of it is powered and controlled from the delite system.

Hey Edward,
Did you already run your wire thru your vertical stabilizer for your lights. Is it a simple two hole process and fish it through ?

Yeah Scott once I drilled to hole for the beacon and a hole between the the holes the hold the stab I run a thin 3/32 rod thur the mount hole and up thur where the beacon will be and pulled it thur. No issues

Rich,

it's the first time I've used the gasket stuff and I jacked up the first few so I needed up having to order another set of windows and rubber. Second set went very well.

Scott the head is the same that is used on the superscale except this is a 600 size and the SS uses the 700 size just slightly bigger
